About a week ago it came to my attention that someone is selling replicas of all my four Nailz Craze stamping plates on Aliexpress and eBay. They just copied the entire design from each plate, and of course erased my logo from them.
I can’t explain how upset and angry I was when I first found out about this, and even now, each time I see this or have to deal with it, it makes me so angry I just want to cry.
I just don’t understand how someone could steal my work like this. It’s upsetting enough to see a picture you took stolen and reposted somewhere else without a credit, it’s upsetting to come up with an idea and see someone recreate a their version of it, but to have your entire work just replicated and sold by someone else? That is just too low.
I’m currently doing what I can from my side to stop this, but to tell you the truth, I’m not very optimistic about this. Even if I somehow get them to remove these listings, I feel like this would be something temporary until they relist and sell them again.
I’ve seen that they already sold a couple of these plates, hopefully to people who had no clue that these aren’t the original plates. Not that there’s any comfort in this…
It’s really important to me to get your support in this situation, so I ask you not to buy these plates (or anything else at that matter) from this seller and support their horrible actions. Please know that I do not sell my plates on eBay or Aliexpress.
I can’t express how frustrated and broken I am, after working so hard on these plates, coming up with creative and original designs, and now seeing them stolen from me like this, it just breaks my heart.
I really hope to get your support on this, and I hope to get this matter fixed soon. I will not post the links to the replicated items, and I’ll ask you to do the same. I’m pretty sure that you will recognize the plates once you will see them.
